| CONSTITUENTS
OF THE PACKAGE: What should and should not be given to the guest will be
the Physician's decision. Here the guest gets to interact with the Physician
on all days. These interactions will result in a better knowledge of Ayurveda
in general. Here the guest has the option of continuing the treatments of
the 3-day package for 7 days OR he or she can look at undergoing unique
therapies like tarpanam and pudapagam depending on the physician's decision.
At the end of Day Five and Day Six, the patient can be given a matra vasti
whatever be the other constituents of the package. |
| Regarding
yoga - if the guest continues the 3-day package then asanas can be taught
to the guest depending on their capacity. |

The Physician explains about Tarpanam, Mriduvirechana or matravasthi and
the benefits of the same and the restrictions to be followed during this
session. |

| Abhyangam:
the application of medicated oil on the head and body promotes strength,
sleep, growth and firmness of hair and is useful for pains, tiredness, debility
and old age. Through enhanced blood circulation, the skin and complexion
are also improved. Medicated oil is applied first to the head and later
warm oil is applied to the body. The process takes 45 minutes. This is followed
by a warm water bath with special herbal powder. Rs. 800 / US$ 17 (plus
tax). |
| Siro Abhyangam:
the application of medicated oil on the head with a special mukha lepam
on the face works wonders to relieve tension and relaxes the mind as well
as gives a golden hue to the complexion and lustrous hair. Medicated oil
is applied on the head and a lepam of Chandanam and Haridra applied on the
face. This is followed by the application of Kumkumadi Thailam and a head
bath with a herbal shampoo. Rs. 500 / US$ 11 (plus tax). |
| Udwarthanam:
a special therapy for reducing body fat, improving the tone of the muscles
and health of skin and also relaxes the body and makes it feel lighter.
Involves a massage with a very special herbal powder and oil. For 1 / 7
/ 14 days. Can also include use of internal medicines also. Time: 60 minutes.
