Hadimba
Temple:
Built in 1550 A.D. in a forest grove. Hadimba Devi’s
temple is four tiered with a Pagoda shaped roof and
a front door way covered with figures ands symbols.
Manu Maharishi Temple: Situated in old Manali
village of distance of 2 km from the taxi stand .
This is the only Temple Manu who is the great Hindu
Law giver. It is approachable by road.
Vashisth Temple: A fair size village on the
left bank of Beas, Renowned for ots hot sulphur water
spring and temple of Vashisth Rishi & Lord Rama. Also
can view, the confluence of Beas and Manalsu River.
Tibetan Monastery: A small Monastery is a peaceful
clerring has image of the Buddha & some exquisite
tangkhas. Famous for carpet weaving & Tibetan handicrafts.
Vaishno Temple: A small cave and a shrine with
can image of Goddess Vishno other temple are dedicated
to Lord Shiva, Rama & Krishna.
Kullu Shawls Weaving Industries: The Kullu
shawls weaving Industries produce export quality handicraft
like Hand woven shawls & other handicrafts v/s wall
hangings, Kullu Caps, Mufflers & Jackets etc.
Manikaran: Famous for its hot water springs
Hot water spring on the river Parvati trace their
origin to a legend. The water is so hot that Dal &
Rice etc. can be cooked. A well known pilgrimage place
on account of ancient Hindu temples and a Gurudwara
According to a legend Manikaran is also associated
with Lord Shiva & his divine Consort Parvati who lost
a recovered her ear ring here. Jagatsukh Temple: Famous
Shiva Temple Shikhara style and interesting old temple
of Gaytri Devi & Sharvali created by Pandvas.
Naggar Castle: It is a old capital of Kullu.
The Castle was built by Raja Bhosaal. Now under HPTDC.
The Castle converted to a Hotel. It is ideal place
for tourist and surrounding scenery is very charming.
Roerich Art Gallery: In Naggar art gallery,
the Roerich Museum, which houses a collection of the
painting of the Russian Artist Nicholas Roerich .

SKIING
Skiing is possible for most of the year and is a
fun sport. You do not require any previous experience
to enjoy the thrills of skiing. Even as an amateur
you can do it under the guidance of our expert skiing
instructors. During winters its fun skiing at the
Solang valley and in summers you can enjoy it on
the slopes of Rohtang Pass.
ROCK CLIMBING
The surrounding hillsides in Manali offer numerous
rock faces for exciting rock climbing. Rocks with

Para Gliding is a wonderful and exciting experience.

pilots in Manali and one can enjoy the fun as a
rider on a tandem paraglider flown and controlled
by a professional pilot.
TREKS AND NATURE WALKS
Treks and Nature Walks to the temples, lakes and
mystical water falls in and around the valley can
be very refreshing. A must to do while you are in
Manali is the beautiful trek from Old Manali Village
to Solang Valley. About 3-4 hours of leisure walk
