Dalhousie
Dalhousie, at 6500 ft. is part of the Dhaula Dhar Range in the Lower Himalayas - just 80 kms. from Pathankot. This idyllic summer resort spreads over five hills: Kathlag, Balun, Potreyn, Moti Tibba and Bakrota, each densely covered with forests of pine, oak and Cedar(Devdar). Of varying heights, ranging from 5500 ft. to 8000 ft. each hill is girdled by lovely level walks, which are a unique feature of Dalhousie's special charm. Quaint shopping malls, Tibetan markets and handicraft centers offer you time and leisure for browsing and buying.

Khajjiar
This picturesque place also known as 'miniature Gulmarg', is a 23 km. wooded drive away from Dalhousie. Situated at 6400 ft., it is a forest glade of great beauty. On the brink of a small lake in its centre, encircled by a forest of Cedars, stands an old shrine dedicated to Khaji Nag, from which the place takes its name.

This protected forest sanctuary, at 8500 ft. is just 9 kms. from Dalhousie. Kalatop derives its name from the dense forests which are the home of a variety of birds and animals.
Kalatop's red-roofed forest rest house, built in the 1800's looks across to the majestic Mr. Kailash and Manimahesh peaks that are always covered with snow.
