Accommodation 

The 100 rooms which include 6 suites open into green courtyards or balconies overlooking trees, the swimming pool, the riding track – natural and pleasing views. The charming blend of colonial furniture, local stone, traditional and ethnic furnishings, indigenous tribal artwork is captivating in its simplicity, which belies the luxurious and modern amenities with which all rooms are fitted. PALACE ROOMS: The newly renovated Palace Rooms are located in the heritage wing. All Palace Rooms feature high ceilings and offer a view of the central courtyard from the large step-out verandas.

IMPERIAL: The Imperial Rooms are spacious and have balconies and large picture windows with a spectacular view of the swimming pool and horse-riding track.

SUITES: Situated in the old wing, the hotel's four suites provide an elegant enclave for complete relaxation. The spacious bedroom is secluded from the living area, enhancing privacy for business meetings or for entertaining. The living room is furnished with comfortable sofas and a dining that table seats up to 4 guests, as well as a private bar and an LCD television.

THE BOURBON SUITE is named after the Bourbons, a French aristocratic family who settled in Bhopal in 1783.

THE GODDARD SUITE is named after General Thomas Goddard who along with his doughty regiment arrived in Bhopal in 1778 on his epic march across the breadth of India.

Fine dining is central to the Jehan Numa experience – good food and gourmet cuisine is served in the true tradition of the nawabs.

Authentic home-cooked flavours, farm fresh ingredients and an extravagant range of offerings excite the most adventurous and discerning gourmet. Shahnama is a multi-cuisine restaurant with a buffet and a la carte service. Most hotel guests start their day here with a hearty breakfast, and come back for a fine selection of Indian, oriental and continental dishes. Named after the poetic opus written by the Persian poet, Firdausi, the art and ambience of this spacious and luminous restaurant, transports you to the this tale of the Persian empire.

Under the Mango Tree This utterly charming restaurant is located, as its name suggests, under an ancient mango tree in the central courtyard. Tattenham Corner The lounge bar is a tribute to the most notorious bend in modern day horse racing, and also to the royal family's abiding interest in horses.
