The Lohana Village Resort has been named after a small village in Rajasthan known as Lohiyana which is now called Jaswantpura. This Village is located at a distance of about 70 Km from Jalore City and about 40 Km from the town of Bhinmal in the greenest of valleys of the Aravali ranges in Jalore District, Rajasthan. The village Lohiyana was ruled by Rana Salji Dewal who had built a fort there. In the year 1883 A.D., Maharaja Jaswant Singh of Jodhpur attacked this area and destroyed it completely along with the Fort. Hence the name of the Village was changed to Jaswantpura. This area has been known for its royal heritage and we proudly share that one of our partners belongs to this imperial city.

The Lohana Village Resort is situated in a town called Pushkar in Rajasthan. Pushkar is one of the oldest existing cities of India. It lies on the shore of Pushkar Lake. The Pushkar lake has 52 ghats where pilgrims descend to the lake to bathe in the sacred waters. The date of its actual origin is not known, but legend associates Lord Brahma with its creation. It is one of the five sacred dhams (pilgrimage site) for devout Hindus. Pushkar is also famous for its annual camel fair held in November amongst tourists that travel from worldwide. Our resort is built on 5 acres of land with the main town and market in the vicinity. It is located amidst a rich cultural surrounding where one can find the famous Savitri temple (wife of Lord Brahma) and many others known amongst the devotees and travelers. This resort gives you the luxury of being in a serene and calm atmosphere with hills and greenery surrounding the place.

The gooseberry orchards planted around define the beauty of this resort. You find yourself some relief in a contemporary pool with the luxury of enjoying a sun bath in the jacuzzi right outside your room. The Lohana village provides 12 cottages in the most hygienic condition. We promise you an easy get away from your busy lifestyle.
