Bhimtal Lake , 22kms from Nainital is larger than the Naini Lake and is a popular venue for picnics and boating. While there, visit Bhimeshwar, a temple complex that dates back to the 17th century.
Mukteshwar , 26kms from Ramgarh is a great place to visit. Over here you can see the ancient temple of Shiva. The Angora wool sheep farm and the rock formations at Chauthijalli are interesting to visit.
Bhowali is 14 kms away from Ramgarh and is a picturesque town.
