Welcome to Jim Corbett National Park, the first wildlife reserve of India, extending over an area of more than 500 sq km in the Himalayan foothills. Corbett national park was established in 1936, as the Hailey National Park. In 1955-56 it has changed to Ramganga National Park and finally Jim Corbett National Park in the honor of legendary hunter-turned- conservationist, best known for hunting man-eating tigers and leopards in the Kumaon and lower Garhwal in the 1920s.

Accommodation
Comfortably sized room done in pleasing colors, with large windows giving an airy and fresh feel. All rooms have ceramic Tiled floors, which does not retain dust or mustiness. Bath/Toilets are attached with running hot/cold water, Bath tubs are avoided in an effort to conserve water.

Terrace cottage offers a panoramic view of the surrounding Corbett Forest, from the large windows and verandahs.
 
Dining
Safari Park resort has a 40 cover restaurant that offers a great view of the Jungle and serves Indian/Continental/Chinese and occasionally local ethnic cuisine. In our state of the art wildlife resort in India, we take special care to ensure the quality of our Food and use only fresh organic products from the village nearby.

Garden:

Our lush green garden do not tend to think anything but enjoying the ever changing moods of mother nature or for jam session with family and friends around a bonfire.

The lobby area in this wildlife resort provides a quite corner and a mini library offers many books/magazines to settle down with.

Our Resort Manager, Naturalists and friendly staff are always available. The Resort has it's own Jeeps with experienced drivers for the Safari. Apart from the Game drives and Elephant Safari, we arrange Riverside Picnics, Nature Treks for excellent Bird-life viewing in the area, local village visits etc.

260 kms.from Delhi via Moradabad, Kashipur, Ramnagar to Dhikuli (only 6 kms from Bijrani Gate, the main entrance of Corbett National Park). About 5 hours drive from Delhi. The nearest Rail head is Ramnagar from where Safari Park Resorts is just 8 kms away.

By Air:
The closest domestic airport to Corbett National Park is 90 kms away from Corbett National Park at Phoolbagh, Pantnagar. At 295 Km from Corbett National Park, the nearest International Airport is at Delhi.

By Rail:

The closest railway station to Corbett National Park is Ramnagar, which is 12 km from the Park. The Ranikhet Express plies between Delhi and Ramnagar, departing from Delhi at 10.50 pm and arriving at 4.35 am the next day. The train from here for Delhi begins at 9.05 pm, reaching Delhi at 5 am the next day.

Best Time To Visit:
Corbett National Park remains open throughout the year for the visitors from Jhrina zone. Every year Bijarani zone get operational from Mid of October and The core area of the national park Dhikala zone get operational from 15th of Nov. The main reason for closure of the Bijarani and Dhikala zone during the rest of the year is that during the monsoons most of the roads get washed away. Repair work starts after the rains end and it is only by October to November that roads to Bijarani and Dhikala are back in motorable condition.
