at The Buransh, are driven by a passion to promote tourism
through art and culture in Uttarakhand,
The
Buransh at Kausani is the first project of Kumaon Vistas
Pvt Ltd. It has the unique distinction of blending quality
tourism with nature's intelligence at work in Kausani, the
abode of gods. Kausani is located 52 kms north of Almora
in Bageshwar district of the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand
in India. Kumaon Vistas is a unique hill resort providing
leisure tourism to invigorate the body and mind. It moves
away from weekend tourism to weekly sojourns with nature.
The retreat provides an excellent view of the 350 KM stretch
of the Himalayas on a clear sky. The peaks like Nanda Devi,
Trishul, and Panchachuli are distinctly visible from Kausani.
The
Buransh , Uttarakhand From Kathgodam, the railhead for Kumaon,
The Buransh is a 140 kms drive, easily done in 4.5 hours.
We arrange transfers on request. A drive from Delhi via
Moradabad, Corbett & Ranikhet or via Haldwani and Almora
is about 400 kms. You can also combine Kausani while on
a road trip to Naini-tal or Ranikhet .
THINGS
TO DO: You will not have a dull moment at The Buransh. If
you want to connect with nature, we will be happy to plan
out a trek or jungle-walk - from a short 2 hour amble to
a more strenuous all-day hike through the Peenath forest.
The area is ideal for birding & photography. We also arrange
trips to the Baijnath or Rudrahari temples and the Anashakti
and Laxmi ashrams and museum which are in close proximity.
And for the shopper - there are woolens, handicrafts, local
tea and food products. And if you prefer to relax with a
book, there are plenty of snug nooks on the premises where
the mesmerizing view is the only thing that well keep you
from your book!.

In
all, The Buransh offers nineteen rooms - all ultra
spacious, with full glass windows so you can enjoy
the view at all times. There are also Family Suites
which sport two beds on a loft so that a family or
even four adults can have a comfortable stay together.
SUPERIOR
ROOMS All our Superior Rooms have a stunning view
and are equipped with 32" TVs with satellite, tea-kettles,
heaters and the baths have hot & cold running water.
Local rugs and furnishing add warmth to the ambiance
DELUXE
ROOMS Apart from all the Superior amenities, our Deluxe
Rooms offer more space and the baths too are expansive.
All of them feature a sofa-cum-bed to accommodate
an extra person. Some Deluxe Rooms have windows on
two sides for an even better view.
FAMILY
SUITES The Family Suites are on the upper level, with
a grand view of the rolling teak forests. These rooms
are split-level, with two separate bed areas on a
cozy loft to add a touch of charm to your stay. These
are ideal for families with grown-up children or even
two couples who would like to bond!
