Accessibility 15 minutes by ferry across the backwaters. The Nedumbassery airport (International ) is nearly 22 km away. And  the rail and bus terminals, just 7 Km away by road from the boat jetty. The vehicles can either be parked at Tourist Reception Center , Marine Drive Kochi or can be brought to the island by the public ferry service at High Court Jetty

Bolgatty Event Centre Overlooking the backwater, Cochin seaport, Vallarpadam container terminal and the Arabian Sea is the Bolgatty Event Centre. Kochi International Marina Located on the eastern coast of Bolgatty Island is the "Kochi International Marina" - the first full-fledged marina of international standards in India. The marina provides berthing facility for 34 yachts and also offers services like water, electricity and sewage pump-outs etc. Marina House, built in the traditional Kerala architectural style, serves as a station for vessels to refuel and to replenish their stores.
