MARMALADE Springs........... an experience
Sprawled within 30 acres of coffee plantation, “Marmalade Springs" is a boutique resort on the 2nd highest peak of Wayanad.

Marmalade Springs was created with a unique vision in mind- A nature based destination, that would preserve and project Wayanad's serene unexplored hill tops and its tribal traditions, with the ultimate aim of providing a luxurious escapade into nature.

One of the oldest tribal colonies is located right next to Marmalade Springs, this enables the guest to experience their customs firsthand and enjoy a night of tribal dance and food.
 
Accommodation
Marmalade Springs consist of 12 nature based cottages perched dramatically on the hill side. The cottages are designed keeping in mind the fragile environment and to ensure comfort, warmth and contemporary elegance.

At Marmalade Springs sleep comes easy. Built and furnished in local timber and rich fabrics, the selected cottages looks out to the merging blue sky and lush green plantation.

Wooden Cottages
There are 4 wooden cottages amidst the lush green coffee plantation. The cottages are built and furnished out of various local hard wood like Teak, Red Cedar and 2 cottages in Irul. A horizontal and vertical plank style is used for construction in order to increase style and grandeur. The cottages have well appointed bathrooms and a staircase leading to an alternative sleeping area designed for children.

Pillar House
The Pillar House at the boutique resort is built and furnished in teak wood and it's pillar, supporting the cottage is made out of raw natural stones . Various antique accessories are used to ensure an ethnic feel. The cottage is child proof and has a staircase leading to an alternative play and sleeping area for children. A rabbit cage is also placed close by to enhance the stay of your child.

Tree House
The tree house (child friendly) is situated high above and gives a bird’s eye view of the lush green plantation. The house is built and furnished completely out of teak wood, and has its own verandah and a sitting area below the room.

Rock House
The Rock House at Marmalade Springs is constructed on top of 3 humongous rocks. It's built and furnished entirely out off teak wood and is child friendly. The house has the rock as its sit out, a stream flowing between the rocks, views of a pond from the front and the swimming pool on one side.
Please note Smoking will not be allowed in the room.

Cottages
Uniqueness is the word to describe the cottages at Marmalade Springs. Keeping this in mind these two cottages are built out of wood and canvas, giving the guest a different feel, experienced in no other resort. A natural stream flows between the cottages, which during the monsoon season forms various tiny waterfalls. The misty view from the cottages is breathtaking and guests can enjoy private candle light or campfire dinners on request by the stream on rock structures.

For the Adrenaline junkies Marmalade Springs can arrange a day packed with adventure activities like Hiking, Biking, Safari, Bamboo rafting and various rope activities. Various Ayurveda Packages can also be arranged on prior notice.

Activities like Tribal dance, ATV drive, Barbeque night, arranged within the resort will be charged extra.
