English man (Martin) & his lady (Annie) built this gorgeous
Tikli Haveli, as their home. They proudly call Tikli Haveli
as their home in the nearest Hill Station from Delhi. Nestled
next to the Aravali Hills, off the Gurgaon - Sohna Road, it's
a heavenly place and a must for all those who love a peaceful,
comfortable & an exclusive break from the daily grind of the
NCR. Located just 50kms from South Delhi and 30kms from the
international airport.
Tikli Haveli, is a 4-Suites haveli, elegantly built in modern
Lutyens style and designed to recapture the spirit and comfort
of living without the need of any air-conditioning. Built around
an old style Indian haveli courtyard, with covered terraces,
giving extra space, shade & security. The Suites have ACs and
can be switched on, when the guest feels warm. Built in Lutyens
style of architecture, Tikli Haveli, with high ceilings, this
would not be usually required. At Tikli Haveli, the beds have
interior sprung mattresses. Al the bathrooms have both tubs
and showers. The bathrooms are also a cultural delight and mix
tradition with any 5-star amenities.
Tikli Haveli courtyard and the garden umbrellas allow sun or
shade to touch all tastes. Tikli Haveli also has a swimming
pool which helps you exercise and also keeps you cool in the
warm periods. Tikli Haveli, recuperates itself from the rushes
from 20th April to 01st July, every year. This is when, its
shut for the visitors.

Tikli Haveli, you can simply relax or, go for a long walk
into the farms & countryside. You can walk up the valley.
You could also walk to the local village or up on the
hills, next to Tikli Haveli. Once you have climbed the
hills, you could see an amazing view of the countryside.
Bird watching is natural. Tikli Haveli, has its own collection
of very friendly Emus, Ducks, Parakeets, Dogs and Buffalos,
your family is anyways, automatically invited into the
animal kingdom of Tikli Haveli..
Tikli Haveli's food is amazing and the very able hands
of Annie and the house maid Lakshmi, make sure that the
cooking is done with the best of ingredients and served
with a lot of love. Most of the ingredients are home-grown
in the farms around.
Each & every window of the suite has the most breathtaking
views of the outside lawns and the landscape around. When
you come to the Tikli Haveli, you are not clients, but,
house guests of Martin & Annie. You now become a part
of the family. If you love reading books, at Tikli Haveli,
you will find the most amazing collection to read. If
you would rather read the book you have, Tikli Haveli,
is the best place you can peacefully, read. If, you think
you are a writer, or, you want to explore the writer in
you, Tikli Haveli is where it might be realized.

In
the winters, the special fire place in the study room, with
a DVD movie or just gossiping in the evening, will set you for
a peaceful sleep in your own room later. You should see the
quality of furniture, its furnishing, the drapes, the carpets,
the porcelain, each every part of the Haveli, is so tastefully
done, that, you are surely going to carry an idea home to copy.
The courtyard has the most exquisite fountain, you can imagine.
The Haveli looks like a palace in the evening, once the beautiful,
yet soft lighting is switched on. The beautiful lamps all across
the suites, living area and other corners of the Haveli, look
divine.

You
may not get the daily newspaper you can't live without in your
daily city life, but, here, you will not miss it at all. With
a no-television policy, it's like Nirvana from all the news
of the world. A few days here and you are ready to handle the
outside world much better. When you are check-in-out, make sure
to take a few bottles of Annie's home-made Marmalade.

The Tikli Haveli Package:
Rs.17,850/- per couple per suite per night.
Rs.10,600/- per person per suite per night.
Kids (under 10yrs): Rs.1000/- per kid per night (no extra
bed).
Kids (under 10yrs): Rs.4000/- per kid per night with extra
bed or extra room (subject to availability).
Kids (10yrs to 18yrs): Rs.5000/- per kid per night with
extra bed or extra room (subject to availability).
All above rates include: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Drinks,
Service Charge, Service Tax and all other applicable taxes.
