Jehan
Numa Palace,
A
regal 19th Century residence, the Jehan Numa Palace in Bhopal
is a rare fusion of contemporary comfort and care.
The
Jehan Numa Palace Hotel is 15 km from the airport and 10 km
from the railway station. As Bhopal's landmark hotel, The Jehan
Numa Palace is centrally located on the green slopes of Shamla
Hill. It is a short drive away from the city center, shopping
districts and major city attractions, and 30 minutes away from
the airport.
Much
like its history, the Palace presents a charming medley of colonial
style, princely Indian culture and unexpected modern trendiness.
A timeless courtesy and subtle sophistication reflect in every
service lending credence to the visitor who said 'its too intimate
to be called a place, too friendly to be called a hotel. Set
on the slope of Shamla Hill, the Jehan Numa Place is a stunning
white structure that combines British Colonial, Italian Renaissance
and Classical Greek architecture. Splashes of colourful bougainvillea,
the champa, the palm and the flowering creepers are everywhere.

under a wide sky to create an enchanting visual treat. Arched
walkways, colonnaded verandahs and verdant lawns in intimate
courtyards take you to equally charming rooms. Jehan Numa Palace
blends with nature and it is only fitting that one of its wonderful
restaurants sits under the shade of an enormous mango tree,
as its name so eloquently states.
The
glint of steel sabres, the rich silk of story-telling carpets,
sepia images of a royal lineage combine effortlessly with a
colonial history and an indigenous art and craft, quite captivating
in its simplicity, even as the Palace surprises you with the
luxury of modern amenities and comfort. Popular with both the
leisure and business visitor, the Palace boasts of fine dining
experiences, refreshing business facilities, and a rejuvenating
and intimate leisure environment. It is characteristic of the

conference venues. The Palace embraces all, generously creating
inclusive spaces, quietly and proficiently.
