The Lotus Suite is one of a kind experience you will not easily forget. Standard amenities include a music system and a DVD player, a well stocked refrigerator and both indoor/outdoor dining areas. All rooms have televisions and attached Toilets/Baths.

The Living Room
The spacious Living Room has a full length terrace and a sit out with a private garden. The living room has its own large Powder Room, a full bar and Dining area. It is tastefully furnished with period furniture.

The Master Bedroom
The large Master Bedroom has a lotus pond, with the personal Jacuzzi in the glass walled bathroom, gives a clear view of the valley, during your private hydrotherapy massage. Comes with a music system and DVD player.

The Upper Bedroom
The Upper Bedroom, the highest point of the Lotus Suite, has a panoramic view of the valley. The open sit out attached to the bedroom overlooks the valley on one side and the pool on the other side.

The Pavilion Restaurant
The multi cuisine restaurant that is open all day until late night, specializing in Indian and Mughlai cuisines. Serving basic Chinese cuisines too. The restaurant overlooks the valley so dining here is a leisurely treat. Breakfast is usually served here.

The Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
Western India's most known Italian restaurant with its world class pizzas that are baked in the unique wood fired brick oven. The location is out of the world, right on a deck overlooking the pool on one side and the Sahyadri mountains and Krishna river valley on the other side.

Prasadam
Our speciality pure vegetarian & Jain restaurant to satisfy the needs of our Gujarati & Marwari clientele with its own vegetarian kitchen. At Prasadam, like at all of Brightland's restaurants, the food is specially prepared using the freshest ingredients to bring out the inherent taste of our mountain fresh vegetables. The restaurant overlooks the Krishna river valley and the backwaters of the Dhom dam. What a setting!

Angaare
While dining under a million stars, huddling close to your beloved ones and enjoying the warmth of the bonfire, you can relish the succulent kebabs at Angaare. A large variety of vegetarian barbeque items cater to our vegetarian clientele and an equally large selection of non-vegetarian items for our non-vegetarian clientele. Patrons are known to travel hours just for this unforgetable experience.

Indoor recreational activities include :

The Electrique Mist converts into a lounge bar and discotheque every evening complete with the lights and music to set you rocking.

We can arrange for local guides to support your quest for natural outdoors. Our activities coordinator does arrange daily treks and walks into the surrounding forests/areas. In addition, he arranges special activities for children including painting classes/competitions and guest activities that include housie, magic shows, puppet shows and local cultural shows.

Swimming
Our beautiful solar heated warm and fresh water swimming pool overlooks the valley and hills. Bask in the tropical sun while sipping on a cocktail. Take a risk and plunge down our very own waterslide. End your day by resting in the Jacuzzi designed to relax your muscles.

Horse Riding
Mahabaleshwar is a great place for those fond of horse riding. Horses can be booked anytime of the day through the reception. Horses are usually booked by the hour.

Trekking & Bird Watching
Mahabaleshwar is an ideal starting point for simple and tough trekking in the Sahyadri Ranges. Trekking paths to the various forts of the area are well documented and are available through the hotel. For nature lovers, Mahabaleshwar's forests offer innumerable facilities to explore nature and witness the many unusual varieties of birds and animals that abound in these forests. Brightland is located alongside a large protected rain forest and we do organize forest walks and treks onto the top of the hill. Lucky guests have seen leapords while bisons are a common sighting on a trek to the top of the hill. Brightland also arranges daily trekking and bird watching excursions for guests complete with binoculars.

Games are arranged for both adults and children daily. Including housie, treasure hunts and other fun games and competitions.

Movies & Books
Brightland provides a fabulous collection of English & Hindi movies. A wide variety of books and magazines are available in the in house library.

Venna Lake : The lake offers facilities for rowing boats & pedal boats. During season time there is also a fair nearby that includes a ferris wheel, a free-fall, various food and gambling stalls.

Mahabaleshwar Market : The best place to buy the delicacies of Mahabaleshwar including honey, jams and other local products. The market is famous for shoes which are said to be the among the best made in Maharashtra.

Tapola Lake Shivsagar : The lake is a vast expanse of backwaters of Koyna Dam. Easily accessible by road from Mahabaleshwar (30 kms), it is a beautiful picnic spot. Diesel launches & speedboats are available for rent.

Points : Mahabaleshwar has 30 entrancing viewpoints that are the perfect places to picnic. One of those points (Kate's Point) is located within walking distance to Brightland.

Pratap Gadh : Located 25 kms from Mahabaleshwar is the grand Pratapgadh. The fort belonged to Shivaji one of the greatest Maratha Kings. The toe of the fort has the tomb of Afzalkhan. The fort is accessible by road only to the base of the mountain on which the fort is located. Be prepared to walk a long distance to reach the fort.

Brightland Holiday Village has a shuttle service twice a day to both Venna Lake and The Mahabaleshwar Market.
