Kundalika River Kundalika is a beautiful river originating in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra and ending into the Arabian Sea near the creek at Roha. The river flows through thick forests and rice fields of a region of what was earlier the princely state of Bhor.

White Water Rafting It is the only river in Maharashtra on which white water rafting is possible. This river has two hydro electric power stations at Bhira and Ravalje. Rafting is done on the let off of these hydroelectric projects. The rafting experience is very nice with 13 km stretch with nice grade III and grade IV rapids.

The starting point is at Village Saje and the end point is at Village Kamath. Rafting is operational throughout the year however the best time to come is during the monsoons and in winter.

Getting There and Away - Kundalika rafting CAMPSITE By Rail: Take the Konkan Railway from Mumbai upto Kolad Railway Station. From Kolad Railway station is around 14 kms from our camp. We can arrange a pick up and drop ex Kolad Railway station at extra cost on prior booking.

By Road:

From Mumbai: 1. Take the Mumbai Goa National Highway upto Kolad ( approx 100 kms from Sion) 2. At Kolad take the left turn going towars Mulshi/ Pune upto Durtoli phata ( 6 kms from Kolad) 3. At Durtoli Phata take a left and go on straight past Durtoli and Golewadi till you reach village Kamath ( 4 kms) 4. At Village Kamath just after the bus stop take a left to reach the camp.

From Pune 1. From Chandani Chowk take the Mulshi Road and proceed beyond Mulshi upto village Vile ( approx 80 kms) 2. At Vile proceed on the Kolad Road upto Durtoli Phata ( 15 kms) 3. At Durtoli Phata take a right turn At Durtoli Phata and go on straight past Durtoli and Golewadi till you reach village Kamath ( 4 kms) 4. At Village Kamath just after the bus stop take a left to reach the camp.

By Air Nearest Airport: Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai. ( 160kms). From the airport take long distance hired vehicle and follow the directions above.
