Hotel Ritz Plaza Amritsar has many firsts to its credit - like being the first centrally air conditioned hotel in Punjab. In its own history it has hosted a galaxy of who's who, including a visit by the Queen of England. Our recepies have been passed down from generations and we take great pride in our special Amritsari food. Our family has been in Amritsar since 1832 and we are not part of any chain.

Hotel Ritz Plaza Established in 1963 by the scion of a pioneering family, Hotel Ritz Plaza (erstwhile Ritz Hotel). Spread over an aristocratic 2 acres on Mall Road, Amritsar’s very elite locale Places Of Interest : Nearby is the Jallianwala Bagh where, during the British rule in India, General Dyer opened fire on innocent people causing a massacre. The place is now a national monument; its walls bear the bullet marks of this tragedy. Also visit the beautiful Rambagh Gardens, Khasla College, Glency Medical College, the Durgina Temple and Kashmir Amritsar is well linked by flights from all over India. Recently, it was elevated to an international airport There are direct links from Delhi to Amritsar by train. It is an 8–10 hour journey. It is situated 284 kms away from Chandigarh, 447 kms from Delhi .
