Like all things at Khem Villas, even the accommodation here is environmentally sensitive and sound. Great pains have been taken to use locally sourced materials and skills.

It has my personal touch and sensibility of being unfussy and focussed on the nature around us. At Khem Villas you will always be mindful of the vast jungle and the magic of nature all around us.

Each room has been designed keeping in mind that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

COTTAGES Your cottages are part of a private compound of 1600 sq.ft. The area includes a spacious and comfortable bedroom, a bath with an open to sky outdoor shower and a large, old fashioned tub. A private courtyard and veranda look over to the Tiger reserve beyond and runs down to the lake within the premises of Khem Villas.

Spacious luxury cottages designed to make you feel like royalty. Soft fabrics and hardwood teak furniture that belie the fact that you are in the midst of a hard jungle. Each private cottage is in a compound of its own, nicely spaced away from the other for a very private experience.

Open Air Bath The private, outdoor bath is a romantic feature of our private cottages. A shower with the morning sun before your safari and a hot soak in the evenings as you look up at the stars...a treat for the tired soul or a room for two.

Tents Each tent is erected on a wooden platform and supported by a steel frame. Spacious and comfortable, with minimalisic, modern appointments. The bathrooms are designed using natural materials like bamboo and wood to give a rustic charm without compromising on comfort and functionality.

Private & Comfortable No better way to explore a jungle than the comfort of a luxurious tent that relaxes you at the end of the day and wakes you up fresh to take on a new day of a jungle safari.

Each of our Tents have hard wood floors, teak furniture and soft white fabrics. We've tried to give the Tents a character of their own, by combining uber luxury with uncrowded minimalism.

Each Tent looks out into the Tiger reserve and to the mountains beyond. Each property is spaced such that you are never alone, yet distant from other guests and the main buildings of the hotel.

Shower Area Shower areas have been designed and created using natural and eco-sensitive materials.

Rooms The main building provides four bedrooms that are self contained and can be used as individual rooms or can provide the option for a small group to hire the entire portion as a private space to be enjoyed together. All the rooms are air-conditioned spacious with en suite bathrooms. The upstairs rooms have large bay windows from which you can enjoy view along with the multitude of sounds of nature.

The Library & Bar Just below the Rooms at Khem Villas, and housed within the Main Building are the Library and the adjoining Bar.

Dining

Guests will be provided a satisfying selection of Indian, Western and Oriental Cuisine during their stay. Out of respect to nature, all the food at Khem Villas is vegetarian. Rest assured, you will be pleasantly surprised! A guest once asked us to print a recipe book! While we may not have such ambitions, it is heartening to recieve such complements for an all Veg Menu, created on freshly picked vegetables and herbs. Most of our everyday ingredients are sourced from our organic farms at the hotel. Even the milk is from the local farm where the cows are fed organic feed.

Age Veda Spa

The Age Veda Spa at Khem Villas is where our visitors can connect with nature in spirit and body. It is over a 30 acre plot, with small water bodies, natural grasslands and thick forest with over 6kms of walking tracks within the property itself. The spa provides a meditative silence and is the perfect place for guests to simply enjoy nature. Take walks, go for a run, practice yoga or simply relax in the verandahs taking in the sunset and listening to the sounds of the forest.

Activities at Resort

CAMP FIRE: Every night in winter around the campfire, by the lake, we enjoy the company of our guests. Many like to hear my stories of the jungle and living with the tiger for over 35 years.

BAR: The guests have a choice of a variety of alcoholic beverages and cocktails. You can beat the heat of the summer in the air-conditioned comfort of our bar, and in winter there is nothing to beat the campfire and the natural surroundings of Khem Villas.

PLUNGE POOL: A plunge pool filled with fresh water to cool of during the heat of the day awaits the tired self. For absolute rejuvenation visit our Spa, just next to the pool.

CAMEL RIDES: Short one hour camel rides can be provided on request to take guests through the local terrain and villages.

TARIFF PER NIGHT

All prices are per night and include all taxes, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The above rates do not include Jungle rides or alcoholic and aerated beverages. These are charged extra at prevailing rates.

These rates are applicable till 30th September, 2018 only. New rates will come into effect 1st October 2017 onwards.
