Polo
"The King of Games"
Let others people play at other things. The King of Games
is still the Game of Kings Polo has always been the game favored
by the kings and emperors, ancient Persians, Arabs, Mughals,
Mongols and the Chinese. The ancient warriors enjoyed this
sport as it brought forth their innate courage, valor and
gallantry. Polo is one of the ancient sports burgeoning in
India even today. The word ‘royal’ has attached itself to
this sport mainly because it was a sport preferred by the
kings. Emperor Akbar was a keen polo player in his days and
this tradition has been carried forward with the royal families
of today and the armed forces.
