The accommodation at The LaLiT Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur is a total of 55 rooms spread over two wings – The Heritage Wing and The Shreenathji Wing. The hotel accommodation also has the option of lake view or valley view rooms, king size or twin bed and smoking or non-smoking rooms. The guest rooms are available in the categories of Deluxe Valley View Room, Deluxe Lake View Room. Palace Suite, Princess Suite, Maharani Suites and The Maharana Suite.

THE HERITAGE WING
The oldest section of the Palace comprises of the 11 Heritage suites, each one of them has its own story to tell, from the time of Maharana’s reign. Each suite makes an individual statement with their interesting play of old marble work, elaborate wood carvings and colorful frescos.
As part of its heritage, Laxmi Vilas Palace has assorted trophies around on the wall. The public areas and the corridors of the palace wing are still adorned with white Makrana marble and black stone which are over 70 years old. This wing is decorated with beautiful imported chandeliers and other artifacts.
 
THE SHREENATHJI WING
A day at The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace begins with an offering to the Hindu deity, Lord Krishna and fore mostly to one of his shrines located nearby the City, Nathdwara. This wing is designed on the local ethos and has the flavor of the childhood of the Lord Krishna. The blessed presence of ‘Shreenathji’ – as he is called in this part of the country – can be felt subtly in the wing and especially in the section dedicated to him.

A beautiful gem studded portrait leads way to the Palace Deluxe Rooms and Suites in this section of the Palace while intricate paintings display the various symbols of ‘Shreenathji’. The sacred and bright Auvergne and Saffron color in all the rooms serve as a constant reminder of the deity, Krishna – the leader, hero, protector, philosopher, teacher and friend all rolled into one.
 
At LaLiT Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur, even the food is served with a touch of panache, the way it was served when the palace was the property of His Highness Maharana Bhupal Singh. The 5 star luxury hotel in Udaipur offers two fine dining restaurants along with a facility of in-room dining.

Restaurants at the hotel are Padmini and Aangan, which serve cuisines from round the world along with a live kitchen. The LaLiT Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur also operates a restaurant at the Maharana Pratap Airport, which offers a wide selection of snacks and refreshment during the flight schedule. Aangan
Cuisine: Indian and Continental
With Sajjan Garh Fort in the backdrop of Fateh Sagar lake in front of it, Aangan, the dinner restaurant has about 40 covers with its alfresco dining options and a live kitchen. The guests can have food cooked to their taste as they watch the chef cook food right in front of them.

Special arrangements for guest entertainment are made every evening by organizing traditional Rajasthani folk dance, which is one of the oldest local art form of Rajasthan. The restaurant serves Bar Be Que and Sizzlers specialties with an exclusive Shikar Menu, on request. Guests can also enjoy their favorite drink over dinner with the adjoining bar. The restaurant has a 24 covers bar, serving the best collection of wines and spirit.

Padmini
Cuisine: Multi Cuisine Restaurant
Udaipur’s rich heritage would seem incomplete without the mention of the Rani Padmini whose beauty, courage and wit is legendary. The legend lives on at The LaLiT Laxmi Vilas Palace with the main restaurant dedicated to the beautiful and brave Rajput Queen. The Padmini restaurant at The LaLiT Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur, facing the Fateh Sagar lake, is the multi cuisine restaurant serving cuisines of both east and west. Guests can also tell their food preference to chef and watch their food being cooked through the live kitchen at this restaurant. Guests can sit back and enjoy their favorite dish as the instrumental music in the backdrop, at the restaurant takes them to the grandeur of an era gone by. The restaurant with a total of 60 covers is open 24 hours.

Sur Sagar Bar
Cuisine: Bar
Overlooking the lush green surroundings at the hotel, with Fateh Sagar Lake beyond it, guests can enjoy their favorite drink with Rajasthani Instrumental music playing at the Sur Sagar Bar. The Bar with a total of 24 covers is operational from 11:00 hours till 23:00 hours.

The LaLiT Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur offers a variety of services and facilities for its guests that include various activities such as Billiards, indoor games for our guests who would like to spend their time playing. We also have a dedicated Kids playing area at Lower Lawn where the guests can leave their kids to our care during the day while they are out on a city tour. The Kids playing area is open from 09:00 hours in the morning till 18:00 hours in the evening.

Guests can also enjoy a special puppet show at The Front Lawns from 1900 Hours every day till 2000 hours. The hotel also provides for a Royal Salute from Bagpiper Band between 1800 Hours to 1900 Hours every day.

Lobby and Concierge
The Lobby plays host to the “Warrior Wing” of the Palace. The portraits of Maharanas and their armaments adorn this section. The unmistakable flooring of ‘Makarana’ marble is a wonderful reminder of the past. The lobby also has the oldest clock of the palace which has been running since the time of Maharana’s.

The colorful dual ‘Phad’ paintings embellish the side walls of the front entrance. These were mainly picture books of Rajasthan traditionally, used by rural narrators known as ‘Bhopa’. The Bhopas were popular storytellers who recounted the legends of ancient Gods, Goddess or Kings with the help of his wife who would keep highlighting the relevant sections of the panel with a lantern.

The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace is Located in the main city just opposite to the famous man made Fateh Sagar Lake and this is the only Royal Palace which is situated near this lake. The palace is about 27 Kms from Maharana Pratap Airport which is around 45 Minutes drive through valleys and mountain. Just 05 Km far from Udaipur Railway Station and 04 Km from Main Bus stand. The major tourist attraction and government offices are easily approachable within the distance of 03-05KM. The city is well connected with rest of the country by all means of transportation as Air, rail and by road.

By Air
Udaipur is well connected via airlines with various main cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Jodhpur. The services of all major Airlines like Jet, Kingfisher and Indian Airlines are there to connect.

By Rail
Udaipur is connected by Rail with Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Kolkatta and Ahmadabad. Most of the train operates on daily basis. The main Railway Station of Udaipur is known as Udaipur City Railway Station which is just 05 Km away & takes 15 Minutes to reach.
