The Nor-Khill in Sikkimese means 'House of Jewels'. Jewels of Sikkim relates to its mountains, its people, its flora and fauna and its animals and fruits. This Nor-Khill was built by the King of Sikkim in 1932 as his Royal Guest House where he received and entertained Heads of States and dignitaries.
