Connectivity

By Air 1) Nearest Airport from Gangtok is Pakyong Airport which is in the capital of Sikkim. The Airport is located at Pakyong town and it is about 30Kms from Gangtok at 4646 ft.,Pakyong Airport is one of the five highest Airport in India. 2) Another Airport is Bagdogra which is in Siliguri, West Bengal. It takes 4.5hrs drive via NH10 and the distance is 124.1 Kms. 3) Chopper service is also available from Gangtok to Bagdogra and from Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok. It is a five seater helicopter and it takes 35 minutes to reach if the weather is clear.
