Attractions
Bhimtal
4 kms from Naukuchiatal, this emerald green Bhimtal lake is ideal for boating and angling. There is a 17th century Bhimeshwar temple complex along with 40 foot high dam.
Sattal
It is comparable with Westmoreland of England. As one approaches Sattal, the first lake to come into view is the old Nal Damyanti Lake. On moving ahead there is the ashram of Stanley Johns an American Missionary. Next lakes is Panna or Garude Lake. As we move down, there is a cluster of three lakes, these lakes are Ram, Laxman and Sita Lake.
Nainital
The most pleasant hill station to visit in this area with interesting walks through the forests to points with superb views of the Himalayas.

If you set out early from Delhi you can reach Naukuchiatal in 7 hours. Delhi to Kathgodam is 269 kms and Naukuchiatal is another 30 kms approximately.
Nearest Railhead
Nearest rail station is Kathgodam (30 kms south). The Ranikhet Express departs from Delhi Rohilla by 09.55 pm and arrives in Kathgodam at 06.10 am. It departs from Kathgodam at 08.40 pm and arrives in Delhi at 04.45 am.
