Retreat Anand is a jungle resort located just 3 KMs outside of the Lansdowne town. It is perfect getaway for peaceful stay in the midst of dense pine forests. It is accessible, yet remote. We make sure that your stay with us is a comfortable and memorable one. It is truly an “Agyaat Vaas” for you and your family.
Retreat Anand is situated in the deep pines, spread over an area of 4 lakh Square feet, connected by a 2 KM long jungle road to the main market (Sadar bazaar) of Lansdowne. You get a panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges from the resort.

 
 

Lansdowne is a charming little hill station in Pauri region of Uttaranchal. It was originally a popular hill station with the Britishers. Attracted by its climate and natural beauty, they established a cantonment here. It was founded by Lord Lansdowne in 1887 A.D., thus the place has been named after him. The famous Garhwal Rifles of the Indian Army also has its command office here.

Lansdowne is situated at an altitude of 1,706 m en route Kotdwar-Pauri road, 37 km from Kotdwar. Surrounded by thick oak and blue pine forests, it is a very beautiful place for a quiet holiday as it is devoid of the usual hustle and bustle of other Indian hill stations.

The forests of Lansdowne are lovely, just ideal for those long walks and picnics. There are amazing mountain views of the Western Himalayas from a number of vantage points like Snow View and Tiffin Top. The nature treks range from simple hiking trails of a few hours or one day's duration, to tougher climbs lasting a couple of days.
 
 

We provide all meals at very economical rates. We provide you other facilities such as:
Swimming pool (25 X 10 m, 5 feet deep), Water Polo, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Volley ball, Cricket, Trekking, Camp Fire. The resort is located near (1.5 KM) a mountain river and many seasonal water falls. We will be glad to help in organizing picnics to these picturesque spots and enjoy your day the way you want. The resort is a home away from home. We have deliberately kept it simple and homely. No uniforms for waiters here! They are your own boys. We have an open kitchen, called the Restra, you are most welcome to cook for yourself (if you want) and share your secret recipes with us. We want you to feel home.

We provide comfortable and peaceful stay under various categories. Super Deluxe Cottage (Bath Room with bath tub and showers), Deluxe cottage, Semi Deluxe Cottage, Family Cottage (6 beds), Dormitory Cottage. Cottages have running tap water and Television. All Cottages have independent Lawns.

Bhim Pakora (1 KM) – Named after Pandav hero Bhim. It is said that during their Agyat Vaas,
Bhim himself had placed the 15000 KG stone their and even a simple push by makes it tilt.
Amazingly, the stone never falls down the slopes.
