Suites & Rooms
Furbished thematically, all guest rooms at Te Aroha are different in their aspect and ambience. The 4 spacious suites and 6 luxury rooms, offer spellbinding views of Dhanachuli's landscape and the snow peaked mountains.
Master's Bedroom
One of the most exclusive suites at Te Aroha, this expansive guest room is located in the old wing and the original summer house. It comprises of a large bedroom with an early 19th century king size bed, a spacious living room with spellbinding views of Dhanachuli’s landscape and the snow peaked mountains, a private garden, a cozy study area and a spacious bathroom. Interestingly, it derives its name from the fact that it once served as the original owner’s master bedroom.
Guest Bedroom
This premium suite boasts of two bedrooms, a living room and a spacious bathroom. The large glass windows of the bathroom open up to spectacular views of the Himalayas. The room once served as a guest room for the original owners of the summer house and its name has not been changed.

Three Steps Down
Perhaps the most romantic guest room of the property, this cozy suite takes its name from the three steps leading down to it from the lobby. The plum upholstery on the white French style furniture, which sits snuggly on a white floor, adds an exquisite charm to this compact suite in the old wing. The white ceilinged suite also has an attached all-white bathroom, with spectacular views of the Himalayas.
Corner Suite
The suite takes its name from its location. Located in one of the prominent corners on the ground level of the property, this beautiful suite is bathed in sunlight from morning till evening, around the year. The suite comprises of a spacious bedroom with an elegant king size bed, a study area and a lovely sun room.
Front Room
Located at the front on the ground level of the new wing, this room came to be referred to as the ‘Front Room’ during construction. And somehow the name stuck. It has beautiful views of the Himalayas and the resort’s front lawns. The room also has a private terrace, which offers spectacular views of snow capped peaks and the beautifully landscaped front of the property.
Courtyard
Tucked away in a courtyard, this room is ideal for a couple looking for privacy. A beautiful antique bed from the colonial era provides a touch of romance to the room.

Black Roof
Located on the first level in the new wing, this room has a black wooden roof and hence its name. The room has a two sided balcony, where you can enjoy the sun and spectacular views.
Morning Sun
The guests staying in this room can enjoy the warm morning sun, as they sip their morning cup while nestling comfortably in their bed. The room has a small balcony, where guests can sit out, relax and enjoy the views.
Deck Room
Located on the first level of the new wing, with a wooden deck extending from the wide corridor outside its door. The room offers beautiful views of the resort, mountains and valley. This room has a twin bed.
Single's Bedroom
This is the only room in the resort with a single bed. A beautiful, delicate, early 19th century four poster bed from the colonial era, adorns this romantic room. Naturally, it happens to be the most sought after room, by lone travellers. The room comes with a small attached balcony, which receives sun shine throughout the afternoon. |
