Safari is the most popular way to enjoy and explore the forest of Corbett.
Following are the key tourism zones of Corbett where you can book your self safaris.

Jhirna
Closest to the resort and the only Corbett tourism zone which is open round the year.
It comprises of mainly dry deciduous topography and secondary forest cover with large open grasslands, vast stream beds and steep cliff edges that provide excellent visibility of wild animals. Jhirna is also one of the richest bird watching sites with a plethora of exotic avifauna.

Bijrani
Bijrani has mixed topography with thick sal forests, three major grasslands and a number of stream beds. Grasslands offer good wildlife sightseeing opportunity.
Entry to Bijrani tourism zone is from Amdanda gate which is 17 kms from the resort. It is closed during monsoons because of the poor roads in the forest.

Durga Devi
A virgin area and a great birding site. the Lohachour zone is accessed through the Ramganga River for the purpose of angling.

Dhikala
The Largest Tourism zone of Corbett National Park, Dhikala is also the most versatile with flora and fauna With famous and the largest grasslands of Corbett disappearing into a thick sal forest. a panoramic view of the reservoir with grasslands ahead is breathtaking.

Dhikala is accessed through Dhangadi gate which 34 kms from the resort. Day visits to Dhikala are only through open bus which are arranged by the forest department.

Other Excursions
Nature walk
A guided walk conducted by our team which takes you through the Village and then for a walk in wilds. Lasting 2-3 hours, it gives you an informative brush of country-life and local flora & fauna.

Birding
Corbett Tiger Reserve is home of over 600 species of avifouna.
Birdwatcher can spend a field day spotting some of its more unusual denizens like wallcreeper spot bellied eagle, owl, great hornbill and crested kingfisher.
Though there is no better way of birding apart from walking through the forest, we also offer game drives

Trek
For serious nature escapists, treks usually last much longer than Nature Walks.
Reserve forest around the National Park are ideal for gentle treks. We offer some very interesting treks around the reserve forest

Elephant ride
The thrill of spotting wildlife on an elephant’s back is unmatched.
One can avail an elephant ride at the elephant station in the National Park’s tourist zones.

Sightseeing
Chhoti Haldwani
This small village in the foothills of Kumaon (40kms from the resort), was once owned by Jim Corbett and used his bunglow here as his summer residence.
It has now been converted into a museum housing Corbett’s belongings which he left behind.

Garjiya Temple
30 kms. From the resort, the temple worships garjiya devi.
It is constructed on a large rock on the banks of river kosi. Visit not only to worship the diety but to experience this amazing place..

Hills of kumaon
Kumaon is a home to some magical hill stations like nainital, ranikhet, kausani amongst many other virgin destinations.

Since most of these hill-stations are 2-3 hours from the resort, a day long visit can be availed.

Corbett Falls

Corbett falls is a picturisq picnic spot. The waterfalls and surrounding areas has been put under conservation by forest authorities to maintain its charm.

Weather Info
Winters (December to February) have a temperature variation of 3°C to 30°C. Winter mornings can be foggy. All tourist zones are open for excursion during this period. summers (March to JUNE) touch 44°C and the average temperature is about 30°C (86°F). All tourist zones are open for excursion during this period Monsoons (JuLY to September) offer rainfall. Intermittent but heavy rain spells may make travelling difficult. Nevertheless, monsoon is good to enjoy the place. Jhirna (closest to the resort) is the only tourist zone open even during this period. Autumn (October and November) October is a welcoming season with pleasant days and nights. November marks onset of winters. Temperature varies from 15 to 30°C. All tourist zones reopen on Nov.15 for excursion during this period. Best period to visit here is from November to March.

November to June is good for spotting animals and also to enjoy the scenic surroundings.
July to October is good for enjoying the monsoons and sight seeing in the downhill region

Getting Here

At a distance of 260 kilometers, the drive from Delhi should ideally take around 5 hours. NH 24 connects you from Delhi to Moradabad via Hapur (we suggest you take Hapur by-pass to avoid traffic) and Gajraula. Get on Moradabad by-pass and take left for Ramnagar via Kashipur. As you enter Ramnagar, take the Left turn leading to Jhirna (Corbett National Park). A 12.3 km drive on this road will lead you to village Dhela and a 1.2 km village drive to us.
