Agra's Kheria Airport is located 13kms from The Oberoi Amarvilâs and is approximately a 25 minutes drive.

The Delhi-Agra highway (National Highway 2) via Mathura joins New Delhi and Agra and is the best route for those wanting to drive from New Delhi to Agra. The drive of 190kms takes approximately four hours. There are an adequate number of refueling stations and restaurants on the way.

The main railway station at Agra is the Agra Cantonment station. The journey takes approximately two hours from New Delhi by Shatabdi Express and, three hours by Taj Express. These trains halt at Agra Cantonment railway station, which is 10kms from The Oberoi Amarvilâs. The drive to the hotel takes approximately 20 minutes in the hotel's chauffeur driven cars.

Premier Rooms Our beautifully appointed Premier Rooms feature Burma Teak flooring, teak armoires and spacious marble bathrooms with both a bathtub and a separate shower cubicle.

Premier Rooms with Balcony Along with the features of the Premier Room, these rooms also have their own private open-air terraces with a view of the landscaped gardens and the beautiful Taj Mahal.

Deluxe Suites Each of these suites has a separate living room and bedroom with a view of the landscaped gardens and the beautiful Taj Mahal.

Luxury Suite Each of these suites are located on the 5th floor which is the highest floor of the resort. They have an entrance foyer, a separate living, a seating dining room and a spacious bedroom with a four poster bed. This is combined with Burma Teakwood and Sandstone flooring. Each suite has two private open-air terraces, both offering splendid views of the Taj Mahal. The bathroom windows offer a view to the monument as well. Each suite also has an interconnecting twin-bedded Premier Room exclusively available with the Luxury Suite. The suite also features a private pantry and a separate guest washroom adjoining the living room.

Kohinoor Suite The Kohinoor suite is located in the centre of the 5th floor which is the highest floor of the resort. This magnificent suite has an entrance foyer, a large living room, a dining room, a study and a spacious bedroom with an attached bathroom, each of which has breathtaking views of the Taj Mahal. The spacious white marble and granite bathroom is equipped with shaving mirrors, twin vanity counters with deluxe toiletries and a water closet with bidet. The bathroom of the Kohinoor Suite offers one of the most amazing views of the monument. The suite also has a pantry and an interconnecting twin-bedded room (for families).

Our two restaurants offer the choice of fine international cuisine and authentic flavours of India. Or simply relax with a quiet drink whilst gazing at the Taj Mahal from the bar terrace.

Bellevue The main restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring international and Indian cuisine.

Esphahan Our speciality Indian restaurant, serving traditional Indian cuisine. Open for dinner only in two seatings; 1st seating 1900 hours or 2nd seating 2130 hours. Advance reservation is recommended

Bar The bar offers a fine selection of wines, spirits and cigars. The bar also has a terrace with a breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal.

Lounge The lounge serves bar snacks and light beverages.

24 hour In-room Dining Some evenings, tired from traveling around the many attractions that Agra has to offer or unwound by a pampering day spent at The Oberoi Amarvilas Spa, guests may prefer to relax in their own rooms for dinner. With 24 hour in-room dining and 24 hour butler service, this is always a pleasant alternative.

Conference facilities at The Oberoi Amarvilas include two meeting rooms – The Birbal Room (seats 16) and The Tansen Room (seats 24) – and one Ballroom that seats a maximum of 150 guests and can be divided into two sections. Recreation Activities At The Oberoi Amarvilas, complimenting the grandeur of the Mughal era is the spa that befits the self-indulgence of royalty. To the mystical, romantic image of the Taj Mahal visible outside, trained Thai therapists reenergize the body with personalized holistic treatments based on Ayurveda, ancient Thai and western techniques. The vivifying experience includes beauty and body treatments with exotic oils and creams used by royalty five hundred years ago, in addition to a steam room or sauna to rekindle the body and spirit.

Fitness facilities A state-of-the-art Gymnasium located within the Oberoi Spa is equipped with treadmills, cross-trainers, exercycles, free weights, a rowing machine and a multi-gym.

Swimming pool Set in the terraced garden, with an option of shade and open sky, the beautiful cobalt blue swimming pool is straight from fairytale pages of the Arabian nights. The 1.2 meters deep pool is heated in winter and is 23.3 meters in length and 16 meters in width.

Rates are subject to 5% luxury tax and 7.42% service tax. For February rates are subject to 5% luxury tax and 5.15% service tax. Oberoi Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to change the room rates and polices without giving any prior notice.

Check in - 1400 Hours Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night. Check out - 12 Noon Later check-outs are available on request and subject to availability.

A recent Government notification requires guests to present proof of identity at the time of check in. Guests are requested to carry with them the required document during their travel.

Child Policy Two children up to 8 years of age can stay in the parent's room without an additional charge. However, a maximum of one child's bed can be placed in a room which will be provided at no additional charge. One child over 8 but less than 12 years can stay in the parent's room. A child's bed is provided at no additional charge. For two children between 8 and 12 years an additional room is necessary. The rate of this room will be 50% of the parent's applicable room rate. If a child is above 12 years of age, a separate room will be required at the parent's applicable room rate. (An extra bed shall not be provided for anyone over 12 years of age.)
