We have an independent dining and a separate kitchen equipped with basic facilities for people who would like to stay with us long term. We built our home keeping in mind the hills we have sloped roof wooden high ceilings wooden floors and open fires. We also grow most of our spices, herbs & vegetables and fruits on the land organically you are most welcome to pick your veggies and ask us to cook them for you as you would like. We offer Indian continental and Thai cuisine.

We enjoy doing a bbq's at the same time we do need time to organize it We provide tea & coffee biscuits& cookies complimentary 1lt mineral water with each room. We also provide branded basic toiletries like hand wash Bath gel shampoo & moisturizer in all rooms. We have a first aid kit also available on request.

We have the view of snow capped Himalayas of several hundred kilometers at times you can see the Tibet & China border as well some of the important peaks which you can view from the property are The Trishul , Nanda Devi,Nanda Kot & Panchchula are some of them come and identify them yourselves we have got you started.

Ranikhet is equally rich in terms of flora& fauna. The various geographical and climatic factors of the area contribute to make it a natural abode for majestic animals like Leopard, Langurs, Himalayan Black Bear Kakar and Goral. The high altitude zone of this area also abounds Musk Deer, Snow Leopard, Blue Ship and Thar.

The other varieties of animals seen in Ranikhet are Leopard Cat, Mountain Goat, Barking Deer, Sambhar, Pine Mertin, Wild Bear, Indian Hare, Red Faced Monkey, Jackal, Red Fox, and Porcupine. The area in and around the town witnesses an exotic variety of birds, like Grey Quail, Kala Titar, Whistling Thrush, Chakor, Monal Pheasant, Cheer Pheasant and Koklas Pheasant.

Weather Ranikhet becomes very cold in the winters and remains moderate in summers, and is best enjoyed from March to October. Ranikhet gets snowfall in the winter season, mainly in the months of December, January and February. In the rest of the months the weather of Ranikhet remains pleasant. Your travel kit to include light woolens in summers and heavy woolens in winters. An umbrella would be handy all round-the-year.

Marigold cottage can be conveniently reached by road or rail. Road from Delhi about 395 Kms via Hapur, Gajraula, Moradabad Rampur Haldwani. Bhowali and Ranikhet or a u turn after Moradabad an alternate route via Tanda, Bajpur, Kalahandi, Nainital Bhowali Ranikhet.
