Villa Majkhali Grande is a top-end heritage villa, located in the Ranikhet hills. The Villa is refurbished very tastefully, looking into every minute detailing.

The mountain road going up to the Villa which goes winding through the cedar forests is beautiful. You would wish that this road would have been much longer & never ending.

A trail from the back of the villa, leads to an ancient temple complex. There is also an old curch, which is now a factory which runs looms to produce shawls. Another factory is of designer furniture, being made from local woods, which have amazing carvings & decoration on them.

The journey to the cottage from Delhi, is around 350 km & takes around 9 hrs. If you have a few days, then we can also offer you a few cottage options, on the way up, to break your journey. You could just take a night each, going up or down, or, else, we can create a nice itinerary, covering a few nice destinations in the same area.

You can come to Ranikhet after reaching the Pant Nagar airport (112 km). By train you can reach Kathgodam Station (85 km).

Accommodation

The Villa offers a beautiful view of the Himalayan Range. There are three double rooms, with attached bathrooms. A living Room, dining Area, balcony & sit-outs for guests, are also parts of the villa. There is a garden, with beautiful flowers & even fruit trees.
