Located at the foothills of the Himalayas 16 kms from Rishikesh, the camp is set up amidst picturesque environs by the holy Ganga River and is surrounded by a thick Sal forest.

The thrills of rafting are also open to all. However, persons suffering from epilepsy, any serious medical problems and expecting mothers are not permitted to go rafting but are welcome to camp at Leopard Beach and participate in the non strenuous activities there such as bird watching, boat rides in a calm section etc.
Equipment and Safety
Top of the line rafting equipment, and an unblemished safety record are hallmarks of OAI. 16 - 21 ft 'SOTAR' self bailing rafts are manouvered by an oar / paddle combination where complete control rests with your professional river guide, everyone has a chance to be involved with paddling and powering the raft.
